Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi everyone! This is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today, we are at Cherry beach in Toronto where we hosted a group of over 50 people who work in appliance manufacturing. There were attendees from all departments of the company and we were especially happy to welcome participants visiting from other provinces and countries. The sun soaked beach really set the scene for this group of Corporate Castaways as eight teams battle their way head to head, across nine competitive challenges. Colleagues got to test their teamwork abilities while discovering hidden talents among their peers. We saw who were the best communicators, who had the best memories, who were the fastest and strongest, and in one hilarious case, who had the weakest stomach.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena with another Corporate event update.

We’re in Toronto, downtown, with 20 participants from a local consulting company. Everyone had a fun time participating in the Apprentice. Teams worked together to build and decorate children’s bikes. There was plenty of creativity to go around with this group, especially with the marketing pitches at the end. We had a group create a Mad Men style pitch which was just hilarious. We had a Buzz Lightyear bike, Breast Cancer fund raising bike, and a few more that were one of a kind. The special aspect about this event is that we had a local charity come in and accept the bikes to give to deserving children. Everyone really loved the fact that these bikes were being donated to children who wouldn’t normally get the chance to have such a cool toy for the summer. This group had high energy and really got along and got the opportunity to get to know each other better. The positive and giving vibes really made this event successful.

Minute to Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Winnipeg

It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update.

Today we are in Winnipeg at Fort Gibraltar, with a national company. This unique venue housed about 60 participants for an exciting event – Minute to Win It. This event was put on for summer students and interns that traveled from all over Canada to learn about the company and to get to know one another. Well, it didn’t take long for everyone to break down barriers and worked together as a team. During some challenges like “That Blows” where they have to use a balloon to blow over cups and “Back Flip” where everyone took turns catching pencils from the back of your hand, you could see there were some serious strategizing, but a lot of good laughs. This group was very competitive and had lots of energy. Everyone had a great time and a positive experience.

Wild Goose Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Niagara Falls

It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update.

We are in beautiful Niagara Falls today with a local company who are participating in the Wild Goose Chase. It was a gorgeous day for this group to take a break from their meetings and head outside to complete some fun challenges. When we started the activity, everyone was eager to strategize and make a solid game plan to try to complete as many challenges as possible. Some of their favourite tasks were demonstrating their parkour skills by jumping over curbs and posts. They like simultaneously high-fiving people walking down the street as a team and practicing their Kung Fu moves in front of an oriental restaurant. Everyone had a great time and shared lots of laughs and everyone enjoyed beautiful spring weather. This activity brought everyone in the team closer together and allowed them to demonstrate creativity and solid communication.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update.

We are in downtown Toronto working with a local company at the Hilton hotel. There were 70 participants today who took part in a customized bike build event. For this event, we implemented our Canadian Outback Adventures & Events app for the teams to accomplish silly and fun photo and video challenges. The points they earned from completing the challenges went towards purchasing pieces of children's bicycles and tools to build the bikes. Everyone had loads of fun completing some pretty silly challenges like opening a banana with their feet, having a flipper race, and performing some pretty challenging Yoga positions. What added even more excitement was that the bikes they were building were being donated to a local charity for deserving children. This was a great event to experience teamwork and creativity while also giving back to the Toronto community.

Minute to Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update.

We are in downtown Toronto working with a local pharmaceutical company who are participating in a Minute to Win It event. This group of 20 took the opportunity during their conference to have some fun and let loose. They had great energy and were very competitive. One of the more difficult challenges this team came across was “Bike Bag”, but with a bit of team work, they proved you can accomplish anything. Another challenge that this group really enjoyed was “Face the Cookie”. It was a bit of a rocky start but by the end, we had a lot of participants accomplish the impossible. Everyone demonstrated strong teamwork and perseverance. It was a great way to end their day before they headed out for dinner.
