It's Dolena with another corporate event update.
Today we are in Mississauga with a local software company
who participated in the Apprentice. We had roughly 80 people participating in
this unique event where they had to build a children’s bike, decorate it and
present a two-minute marketing pitch. This group had so much fun. I’ve never seen
such creative and well thought out marketing pitches. One of my favourite was
the group who had a pink panther theme. They had a team member hide behind a table
cloth and when it was dropped, they sped their way out to the crowd, with lots of
energy and it was just hilarious. This group really thought outside the box and
utilized all components of the bike and its packaging to create an epic
masterpiece. They displayed solid teamwork and originality. The spirits were
also high for everyone because these bikes were donated to a local children’s
organization which is also a huge highlight for the group.
