It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update from
Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.
Today we are in the nation’s capital – Ottawa, where a
national auto shop company is participating in the
Iron Chef Barbeque Challenge. This group of 45 was split into seven teams where they have to cook a four-course meal, create a menu, and a beverage, while filling the pressures of
beating the clock. The teams delegated roles and heated up the park with their
delicious dishes. It was a great opportunity for everyone to contribute to
their team with their own unique skills such as time management, creativity,
presentation skills, communication, and of course, their talents with the
grill. We had some teams make their very own homemade candy which was
delicious, and sauces, and some teams made their dishes look beautiful –
totally restaurant quality. With everyone being from all over Canada in this
group, it was a great way for colleagues to take a break from their meetings
and get to know each other in a fun and unique environment.
