Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are in downtown Toronto with a local law firm running the Amazing Chase. This group of 50 started off the event by coming up with very creative team names like “The Liquidators” and “Superheroes in Training”. They proved to be a very competitive group as they ran after each other, trying to get to their check point first. Some of the road blocks this group enjoyed were the sing along challenge where they had to sing a famous rush song and building a human pyramid. We ended the chase at a private bar in the distillery district where everyone was excited to have a drink because it was such a hot day. Everyone had a blast and really enjoyed getting to know everyone in their group.

Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Victoria

This is Jordan with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

Our latest event, The Amazing Chase, was planned for a group of sales managers from the wine and spirits industry. It was an absolutely stunning bluebird day in BC’s capital, Victoria. Teams are tasked with completing a series of linear challenges throughout the downtown core. Just like on Amazing Race TV show, teams needed to successfully navigate roadblocks, detours, and any challenges presented along the way. Points were earned by completing challenges and submitting answers through Canadian Outback’s smartphone app in the form of funny videos, photos, text and trivia responses. There’s a race to the finish as the first and second place teams are separated by mere seconds. This race was truly a photo finish.

Amazing Chase Corporate - Team Building Activity in Vancouver

It’s Aiden here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we hosted an Amazing Chase in the busy downtown Vancouver on a hot and sunny day. We had 30 participants from YVR’s IT department, our local airport. Teams worked together to complete a series of route information challenges which unlocked their roadblocks or detours, which were required to be completed throughout downtown Vancouver. These challenges were completed and unlocked through our Canadian Outback Adventures & Events app. I saw a lot of laughs and smiles today, especially during our Brian Adams’ “Run To You” challenge, where teams were required to memorize the lyrics of “Run To You” and share it with their host to be able to move on to the next challenge. Teams enjoyed visiting local areas such as Chinatown, Gastown, and various areas throughout downtown. The group was high energy and just had a ton of fun. Teams were eager and excited to cross the finish-line at the Rogue, downtown Vancouver, where they were able to enjoy a few appies and drinks.

Another Great Corporate Team Building Activity in Vancouver - The Amazing Chase

Hi this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is February 17^th here in Vancouver, BC and we have just completed an Amazing Chase event for a local travel company. So they had come in, this is their first time working with us and they’re really excited to have an event that would be able to get all their new teammates working together, so their company had just gone through major re-org and they had a lot of different employees that have never worked together before or work in a contract basis, they didn’t do a lot of face to face interactions with their colleagues. So really excited to be able to get in some team building as part of their meetings and have this as the big kick off. Really small group, only 12 people, we have 3 teams of 4 getting out there into the different activities and challenges in the event, and they just had such a blast. This group really went to town on the different challenges and by far, my favourite when I was out there, seeing all the teams in action was a random act of craziness and kindness. So the teams, for the random act of kindness portion of the challenge, one of them decided to sing ”Twinkle Twinkle Litte Star” for a little girl who, at first was super shy and didn’t want to interact with the team but after some encouragement with mom they ended up singing her favourite song and she was very adorable and loved the team by the end of it, which was really awesome, some good warm fuzzies there.  The client was really happy with the event and we met all their expectations, they really enjoyed the fact that teams were able to be competitive but still encourage to work together in different dynamic challenges to get their teammates talking and learning a little bit about each other, as well as how they work together, which was fantastic.

Vancouver Amazing Chase - The Next Level in Corporate Team Building Activities

Hi this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is Nov 20^th here in sunny downtown Vancouver. Big surprise to have this beautiful weather this time of the year in Vancouver, but we are really excited for our Amazing Chase that we were running for our group here, our local bank was having all of their head managers come in from all their branches to do some meetings as well as some team buildings. So we came in bright and early this morning to run their event and it was such a great day for them to be out, running around in downtown Vancouver. These guys are really excited to be able to showcase the city to some of their colleagues that weren’t from Vancouver and as well as get to know the city a little bit better for their current employees who were located in Vancouver, and walking around and talking to my staff, these guys really were engaged in the whole event. They took the challenges to the next level and were trying to always outdo each other at each of these stations, which were really fantastic to see. With a lot of creative utilization of transportation, we had teams making friends with other drivers to take them around and other teams got the hotel concierge they are staying at to prolong, lend them some bikes which was lots of fun to see them biking around downtown Vancouver, racing to the next station. At the end, there was a lot of great stories that these guys were sharing, a lot of great camaraderie between the teams which was really fantastic to see, and our team just said that these guys were above and beyond trying to win the final medal and it was a tight race at the end but one team did end victorious and they all had such a great time there, regardless of whether they won or not, which is always fantastic for us to see.
