Custom Event - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Today we are downtown Toronto with a pharmaceutical company. Today’s a special event because it was completely customized to fit the client’s needs. We called it “The Collaboration Games”. We had approximately 125 people split into 14 teams. They all came together as a team to complete trivia games while we asked True or False questions, Pictionary, and Charades. Then we played a series of warm up challenges where everyone on every team participated in solving sports puzzles, and discussing plates into baskets.  From there we had a head to head winner take all tournaments, where teams battle their way through big and bold challenges. One of my personal favourites was watching teams wear silly costumes and take turns riding a children’s bicycle. It was super fun. This group had the most energy and team spirit that I’ve ever seen before. They all supported and cheered each other on as each team was playing for points that would translate into dollars for their own team’s local charity. Overall, this group loved the event and was the perfect way to enhanced their meetings in a fun and philanthropic way.

Custom Event - Corporate Team Building Activity in Bloomfield

It’s Dolena here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today was a beautiful day in Prince Edward county at the Fields Farmhouse where a local real estate company was hosting their fall conference. This company had all of their employees from the Toronto and Ottawa office come together for a day to go over upcoming company goals. To end off the meeting on a high note, Canadian Outback made a completely Custom Event with a football theme. This group of 125 were split into 15 teams and participated in three different activities. We started with a warm up obstacle course where team members hop around in potato sacks, we have three-legged races, egg and flipper races, which were pretty funny. Then everyone got their heads in the game for a high paced kick-off and target shoot challenge. Everyone showed awesome team spirit and really motivated their teammates. We were even able to add in a bonus cheer off challenge, that was my favourite part because a lot of teams really showed creativity and cohesiveness. It was all around a good laugh and offered a great way to have everyone meet colleagues they don’t normally work with on a day to day basis and just have some good old fashion fun.

Custom Event - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we are right near the water at Jennifer Katrina Park in Toronto with a local online marketing company. This group of about 75 participated in their very own custom event where teams competed in five different challenges. These challenges were all in, meaning, everyone from all 12 teams participated. We had the teams run a four-legged race with additional challenges like keeping an orange tucked under their chin and walking backwards, a 12-team version of capture the flag, a game that required teams to work together to transfer water from a cooler to fill a bucket the fastest, and a soccer shooting competition, and a spirit challenge. This group was very competitive and had lots of high energy, but I would have to say the highlight was watching the teams come up with quick team cheers and decorating a team flag. Everyone had a good laugh with these, they were hilarious. Overall, this custom event allowed this group to get out of the office for the day and enjoy the beautiful weather while learning more about their colleagues in a fun and relaxed environment. It was a fun day and everyone had a blast.

Unique Pool Rafting in a Corporate Team Building Activity in Whistler

Hi this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is October 5^th up here in Whistler, BC and we have just completed a custom event for a lawyer retreat that was happening up here in Whistler at the Four Seasons. We have the full run of the Four Seasons resort for this event which was lots of fun. It was a custom event based around different activities that we had created with the hotel in mind with their different areas, so one of the biggest and best challenges these guys got to compete in was a rafting event in the pool where teams had to jump into these little rafts and they had to paddle across and ended up being a big game of pirate, which was lots of fun, people got wet, there was lots of laughs, lots of funny photos. The client was really eager to have this group to have a lot of different dynamic events and challenges that got them out of their comfort zone, loosening them up a bit, they’ve been in a lot of meetings throughout the past 24 hours and this was supposed to be the fun, different, exciting event for them to make sure everyone had a good time and created some really awesome memories, and we really think that those goals are met here, everyone had such a blast, there was a really great energy running around the hotel and seeing all of these teams getting so into the event and really engaging in all the different challenges we put out for them, and there was such a great mix of different activities for these guys so there was always something for everyone and all of the teammates got to participate and really show off their unique skill sets with some other challenges for sure. The client was really happy with the event and we did a big grand finale mission to the moon rocket launch which was a lot of fun for the group and a big hoorah in the end and we had a fantastic time with this group.

Kaleidoscope of Corporate Team Building Activities in A Custom Event

Hello this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is September 18^th and we are here at the Richmond Olympic oval and we just completed a custom event for a financial company of about 180 to 203 of their employees from their Vancouver office. This was their company retreat, as well as fun days that they did conferences in downtown Vancouver. In the morning they were brought out here for their afternoon activity. We had a really great time with this event. It was an amalgamation of some of our team building events, as we as utilizing some of the activities the Richmond Olympic oval had to offer. So we had things that were more catered towards the venue space, for example Rock climbing and Yoga, as well as doing a golf clinic, as well as incorporating some of our more custom events for Canadian Outback. We had some Minute to Win It challenges, we did some painting activities and we did a culinary component with making sushi as well as making some Asian flare cocktails, so a whole nexus of fun stuff. Basically what the client wanted with this event was a fun day for all of the participants, and we really think we met those needs, the participants had such a great time being able to go around the stations. They can try a few different things that they might not have been able to try in their regular life, as well as just having a fun relaxing afternoon. We really had a fantastic time, the client was super happy with the way the event turned out and we really enjoyed being able to produce something a little bit different for these guys and still meet their needs while going through all of these fun challenges and activities with them.
