The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Winnipeg

Hello! Miguel here with another Canadian Outback corporate event update.

Today, this Apprentice event was organized for a group of executives from a transportation company. The venue selected was a room in a beautiful park located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The group was very energetic from the beginning and full of ideas to tackle the tasks at hand. All of them were challenged with building a children’s bicycle, customizing it with art material and created an advertising campaign. Their campaigns were a mix of safety features, funny presentations and some full of facts, but very engaging all of them nevertheless. No one was fired and the bikes went to a good cause since they were donated to a local charity organization at the end of the event.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Winnipeg

Hi everyone, this is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are at a hotel in downtown Winnipeg, where we hosted 30 engineers participating in the Apprentice. The group had representatives from every Canadian province and territory for an afternoon that let them bond and fun and light hearted ways. Being engineering professionals, it was no surprise that the group’s attention to detail and safety and budget awareness was top notch. Some people might say, “You can take the engineer out of the office, but you can’t take the office out of the engineer” though don’t be fooled. These engineers got the chance to show their wild side, breaking into song to earn extra credit, cycling around the room and delivering some highly competitive, and often musical pitches. The enthusiasm was incredible.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Winnipeg

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We were in Winnipeg on March 10^th where we worked with a local company who participated in the Apprentice. This is a special group of people because they were all managers coming together from different parts of northern Canada. They were from the Northwest Territories as well as Nunavut. This group was very excited about this event because they were donating these children’s bikes to deserving children in their communities that are in very remote locations and normally don’t have access to these types of materials. So it was really fun and really motivated the groups to do a good job. The group had a lot of fun, they worked with their peers and they demonstrated really strong teamwork and they had great time management. They built these bikes so quick, decorated them and it gave them a lot of time to come up with creative presentations. They were dancing and there was story telling and singing and acting, it was definitely the highlight. The group had a lot of laughs and a really fun time with the presentations in the end. People got out of their comfort zones and really made it fun and exciting.
