The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Winnipeg

Hello! Miguel here with another Canadian Outback corporate event update.

Today, this Apprentice event was organized for a group of executives from a transportation company. The venue selected was a room in a beautiful park located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The group was very energetic from the beginning and full of ideas to tackle the tasks at hand. All of them were challenged with building a children’s bicycle, customizing it with art material and created an advertising campaign. Their campaigns were a mix of safety features, funny presentations and some full of facts, but very engaging all of them nevertheless. No one was fired and the bikes went to a good cause since they were donated to a local charity organization at the end of the event.

Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Canmore

This is Jordan with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

Our latest event was an Amazing Chase, planned for a property management team from across Alberta. The picturesque town of Canmore, Alberta, located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, played host to the greatest race this company has ever been a part of. At just 26 kilometers from Banff, and on the cusp of Kananaskis country, it's at the crossroads of some of the most magnificent scenery you’ll ever see. Teams race at the heart of Canmore, completing challenges and soaking in the epic beauty at every turn. Just like on the Amazing Race TV show, teams needed to successfully navigate road blocks, detours and any challenges presented along the way. Teams earn points by completing challenges and submitting their answers through Canadian Outback smartphone app in the form of fun videos, photos, text and trivia responses. Today was a success as teams arrived at the finish for well deserved ice cold beverage. They shared stories, a few laughs, and of course, the winning team received their coveted gold medals for their performance today.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Mississauga

Hi everyone, this is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are at the Performing Arts Center in Mississauga where we hosted 70 pharmaceutical professionals participating in the Apprentice. This hard working office needed a break from the day to day grind and the Apprentice is the perfect event to build community within the office, while contributing to the local community at the same time. Teams got together, built some awesome bicycles, then suit them up with really creative artwork, decorations, and unique customizations. At the end of the day, each group delivered entertaining marketing pitches to promote their creations and demonstrate everything they accomplished as a team. Only one team reigned supreme and earned the title of the Apprentice, but everyone leaves a winner, having donated their bikes to a charity that works to help some very deserving children.

Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Ottawa

Our latest event was an Amazing Chase, planned for a group of Ottawa lawyers. Our nation’s capital played host to the greatest race this company has ever been a part of. Ottawa’s blessed with abundance of attractions and assorted landmarks that heightened the experience for this racers. From the iconic part of the buildings to the Rideau canal, all stops were located within the downtown core, and allowed the racers to soak in Ottawa’s natural beauty. Just like on the Amazing Race TV show, teams needed to successfully navigate roadblocks, detours and any challenges presented along the way.  Teams earn points by completing challenges and submitting their answers through the Canadian Outback smartphone app in the form of fun videos, photos, text and trivia responses. Today was a huge success as teams were active to finish for a well deserved ice cold beverage, they shared stories, a few laughs, and of course, the winning team received the coveted Canadian Outback gold medals for their award winning performance today.

Old Montreal played an integral role to the success of the course as teams encountered history, beauty and cultures explored all of Montreal. Set between the Saint Laurent’s river and downtown skyscrapers, this historic city center was once surrounded by walls and is ideal to explore by foot. Just like on the Amazing Race TV show, teams needed to successfully navigate roadblocks, detours and any challenges presented along the way. Amazing Chase and Wild Goose Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi everyone, this is Nick again, reporting on a fantastic full day of corporate team building.

Today, we are with a group of child care workers in downtown Toronto where we spent the day with fun, active, and competitive challenges for this very enthusiastic group. It was double duty this time as the team chose to start the morning off with an Amazing Chase, refuel over lunch, and then take it back outside to duke it out all over again with our Wild Goose Chase. Both events incorporated the Canadian Outback mobile app which guided users to a huge variety of exciting challenges. We saw participants run through fountains, put a dog on their head, borrow a police officer’s bicycle, eat worms out of tequila flavoured lollipops, and then perform the Haka and sing karaoke in the street, and that was just the beginning. Our app is loaded with activities to keep the group moving, competing, strategizing and laughing, right until the end, when the time runs out. Two teams reigned victorious, but everyone leaves a winner when working as a team, putting themselves out there and getting outside their comfort zones.
