Minute To Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi there! This is Jason Reichert from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We just recently wrapped up a Minute To Win It here in Toronto, Ontario. In Minute To Win It, teams compete in a variety of seemingly simple 60 second challenges. Teams compete either individually, with a portion of their team, or their entire team, depending on the task at hand. This is a very fast paced and high energy event. In this case, the energy was through the roof before it even began. Teams were fashioned with their own bandana, and team spirit and camaraderie quickly through. During our last challenge, the entire room was cheering and chanting for one person as they attempted to push his own limits. It was an unbelievable atmosphere and one I won’t soon forget.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi everyone, this is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate team building event update.

Today we are at the Ontario Science Center in Toronto where we hosted a group of 120 finance professionals participating in the Apprentice. This event was the perfect way to inject some energy into their scheduled agenda, while still engaging everyone in meaningful and productive ways. It’s no surprise that these mathematical magicians were very safety and budget conscious, however, the creativity inspired designs, hilarious presentations really made the afternoon a hit. The Apprentice is a great blend of strategy, creativity and team work, guaranteed to get people working with one another in new and unfamiliar ways. At the end of the event, we had a charity come in to accept the bikes as a donation to some deserving children. The Apprentice is fun and it’s an event that you can feel good about.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi there, this is Jason Reichert from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with a corporate event update from Toronto, Ontario.

We just recently wrapped up an event here in Toronto with a small group, with big heart. Teams were tasked with building, customizing and presenting a marketing campaign for children’s bicycles. These bicycles were then donated to a local charity of the group’s choice. The group was particularly excited about giving back to the local community in the philanthropic aspect of the event. It was highly competitive and they immediately got into the spirit of the event. Not only were they forced to manage their time and resources effectively, but they had to collaborate and negotiate in order to successfully complete the task at hand and be crowned – The Apprentice.

Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Banff

Hello, Miguel here with another corporate event update.

Banff was the backdrop for this amazing race type of activity that had teams travelling up and down town. Not only discovering some of the local attractions but also interacting with the public and deciphering some of the clues. It was a nice, crisp and clear day in Banff, perfect for an activity like this. Teams have to use their negotiating skills to try to get ahead of the game, but there can only be one winner, and that winning team was the one that finished the quickest but also the most accurate.

Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Quebec City

Hi everyone, this is Nick again, reporting on another great afternoon of corporate team building.

Today we are in Charming, Quebec City, where our group of insurance and benefits professionals took part in the Amazing Chase. This app based activity led participants through old Quebec, going from challenge to challenge where they saw the sites, explore their environment and put their best efforts forward while working as a team. There’s something for everyone in the chase, whether your strengths are physical, artistic or mental, and this customized course had offerings that are a little bit tastier in nature. Keeping with the spirit of Quebec, and the local cuisine, we had team stop in out of maple museum for a blind taste challenge, a sugar pie shop for authentic French deserts, and an old stone cellar bistro where they tested their pallets on some fine French wine and cheeses. This physical, competitive and interactive event can be different every time as it combines the needs of the group with local and cultural offerings.
