Minute To Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are in downtown Toronto, at the beautiful Fairmont Royal York hotel with a national banking company. All 30 participants were from Latin American offices and were very excited to play Minute To Win It. This group had more energy than any group I’ve ever worked with before. We had such a blast completing all of the challenges. They worked together so well, and even when they thought some of the challenges were impossible, like “Face the Cookie” for example, they didn’t think anyone could get a cookie from their forehead to their chin without using their hands, but, more than half of the participants were able to complete the challenge. They were really excited about that. Another challenge that the group enjoyed was “Back Flip”. I’ve never seen so much dedication in trying to catch all 10 pencils. We even had a bonus challenge for 1 person from each table, had to attempt catching 12 pencils in 1 shot. The teams went wild over this and had so much fun, they were super supportive and showed great strategizing. Overall, everyone really enjoyed this event and made some great memories.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Markham

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are in Markham, working with a project consultant company. Today, this group of 12 participated in the Apprentice. Half the group was made up of the company’s clients from all over the world. We had people from Belgium, Germany, and parts in Asia. This was a wonderful opportunity for the company to bond with their clients while also showcasing the company’s values in giving back to the community. Since the bikes were being donated to a local children’s organization. Everyone had so much fun working together in their teams. Everyone’s creative side came out and it clearly showed in the decorations and especially in their presentations. My cheeks were sore from laughing so much, it was just hilarious. We had teams singing, dancing, acting, they even made a rap. It was such a good time. This group really embraced the challenges and also came up with some creative negotiating tactics when purchasing tools from our Apprentice store to build their bikes. Overall, it was a great day.

Crime Investigators - Corporate Team Building Activity in Ontario

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today was a beautiful fall day at the Millcroft Inn, just outside of Caledon,Ontario, where our group of 30 from a pharmaceutical company was split into special groups so they could piece together clues and solve the crime for the Crime Investigators event. This analytical and very competitive group enjoyed visiting the crime scenes that were outdoors since they’ve been sitting inside for the past 2 days during their company meeting. They collected evidence, navigated to different crime scenes and sketched out those crime scenes to solve this crime. We could tell the group really got into this event because all of a sudden the CSI lingo came out in everyone, as they inspected the murder weapons, took samples and analyzed the scenes. One of the highlights from this event was watching the media briefings at the end from our top 3 teams. One of them made an awesome rap describing the suspects and it was just a riot. This group really demonstrated great communication skills, creativity and solid teamwork. Each team member had something they could contribute towards their group’s success.

Team Pursuit - Corporate Team Building Activity in Ottawa

It’s Dolena here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

It was a beautiful fall day in Ottawa where we hosted the ultimate ice breaker game – Team Pursuit, with a local financial company. This group had 75 participants, ranging from new hires to executives. The goal for this event was to have some fun and have everyone interact with co-workers that they don’t normally see on a day to day basis. The Team Pursuit is played off of our Canadian Outback smartphone application. Everyone completed challenges that tested their mental, physical, and cerebral skills. With such a variety of challenges, everyone was able to contribute their own unique skills to bring their team to victory. We even included five custom challenges that were specific for this company. It was so much fun and everyone really enjoyed building a human table, re-enacting favourite scenes from  movies, practicing the Macarena, and so much more. Everyone broke out of their shells and laughed the whole way through. This group showed plenty of perseverance to accomplish as many challenges as possible. It was as super fun way to end off their full day of meetings.

Minute To Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in King City

Hi everyone, this is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate team building event update.

Today we are at a conference center in King City, where we hosted a group of over 50 strategic and highly competitive pharmaceutical professionals. Our Minute To Win It challenge was a great way to kick off their conference and break the ice on day one. Participants got to run through 12 different challenges that let everyone get involved and show their unique strengths. We got a chance to see everyone’s inner animal in “Elephant March”, their balancing capabilities with “Johnny Apple Stack”, and their muscle control in “Face the Cookie”, just to name a few of the wacky skills this event tests. All of our Minute To Win It games are exciting and dynamic, pulling out the inner child of each and every participant. Competition was stiff today, but it was definitely light hearted, fun and often times hilarious. You’ll never know what kind of secret skills and talents your co-workers are hiding.
