Crime Investigators - Corporate Team Building Activity in Mississauga

Hello, it’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are in Mississauga with a local roofing materials company participating in the Crime Investigators event. This group of 25 was so much fun to work with, I’ve never seen a group get so involved and really capture their roles as agents in this Crime Investigations before. They asked all of our officers on site, so many questions, they were very detail oriented and picking up all of the evidence. We found some pretty funny materials at the end that were handed in to our forensics lab like some hair, some rocks, some pine needles, all kinds of different things. Everyone really appreciated the detail we put in to this event and had so much fun bonding with their team members at their conference.

Minute To Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Montreal

Hi everyone, Nick here, reporting on a great afternoon of corporate team building with another one of Canadian Outback Adventures & Events’ dynamic and lively activities – Minute To Win It.

A trendy hotel in Montreal’s downtown core was the arena where three teams of fierce retail executives battled it out for supremacy. You might know who to turn to in the office for sales, legal or maybe accounting advice, but who’s gonna step up to the plate when the tasks at hand are quirky, silly and a lot more hysterical than the typical 9 to 5. The wide selection of fast pace and addictive challenges gets every competitor a chance to shine and show some of their more creative abilities. Stack attack, Rapid fire, High roller, Face the cookie, all the classics were here today to get people on their feet, moving and working together in an entirely new ways.

Wild Goose Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Victoria

It’s Aiden here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We just finished a successful Wild Goose Chase for a tech group from Edmonton, Alberta. This group came to Victoria, BC, and stayed at the Oak Bay hotel. They wanted to explore the downtown core and have some fun and work together. That’s why our Wild Goose Chase Scavenger hunt was a great fit and a break from a day of meetings to get outside and enjoy the beauty of Victoria. Teams brought the competition and completed various challenges on our Canadian Outback Adventures & Events smartphone app. One of their highlight challenges was taking photos in front of the BC legislative building. At the end of the activity they wrapped up at a local pub and we shared some stories as well as some laughs.

Going Live - Corporate Team Building Activity in Vancouver

It’s Aiden here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We just completed a successful and fun Going Live event for an international supply management company. There was delegates from across the globe that came to Vancouver, British Columbia to the Rose Wood Georgia hotel. This team was excited to work together and have some fun as the part of their annual conference. We got off to a great start where teams had to manage their time to create a 3 minute live presentation based off on news and weather report based on their company. However, there’s a catch – to receive the best filming spot, teams were required to complete challenges on our Canadian Outback Adventures & Events app that are based on relevant news industry trivia where teams were able to take some fun photos and videos and interact with team versus team competition. The highlight was watching the 3 minute live broadcast at the end which included some fun props and of course, bloopers. These final presentations brought a lot of laughs to the group as well as let them enjoy their time together for these couple days.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are in downtown Toronto with a national legal insurance company who was super excited to participate in The Apprentice. This group of 20 was one of the most creative groups I have ever had the pleasure to work with yet. Most of the group was from the Toronto office while others came from Vancouver and Montreal. The goal of this event was to have the participants challenged in a unique way that required them to work with colleagues they don’t always work directly with in a more creative environment. I would say mission accomplished as these groups presented some of the most creative pitches I have ever seen. They managed their time perfectly and really brought out their A-game. The presentations focused on imagination, there were theatrical and super funny. Another key factor about this event that this group really cherished was the giving back aspect. All of these bikes were donated to an active local children’s organization. We even had a representative come and speak about their programs so the group have thorough understanding of where these bikes were going. Overall, this event was a huge hit and we look forward to working with this company again.
