Wild Goose Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Today we are in downtown Toronto with some economic developers running a custom Wild Goose Chase. This group of 80 had a long day of meetings and wanted to end on a fun note while keeping everyone engaged and motivated. At this company’s conference, they had exhibitors from different organizations included in the chase. Teams had to interact with boot staffs to earn the big points in this game. They completed fun photos and video challenges using the Canadian Outback App as they ran in and around the hotel area. This is an excellent opportunity for teams to get to know some of the products and services these exhibitors were showcasing while also building team cohesion and having a good laugh together at the same time. The challenge submissions proved that this group was very creative and competitive. Everyone especially loved the challenge that brought them out to Nathan Philips square and taking awkward family photos.

Wild Goose Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Victoria

It’s Aiden here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We just finished a successful Wild Goose Chase for a tech group from Edmonton, Alberta. This group came to Victoria, BC, and stayed at the Oak Bay hotel. They wanted to explore the downtown core and have some fun and work together. That’s why our Wild Goose Chase Scavenger hunt was a great fit and a break from a day of meetings to get outside and enjoy the beauty of Victoria. Teams brought the competition and completed various challenges on our Canadian Outback Adventures & Events smartphone app. One of their highlight challenges was taking photos in front of the BC legislative building. At the end of the activity they wrapped up at a local pub and we shared some stories as well as some laughs.

Wild Goose Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Victoria

This is Jordan with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

Our latest event was a Wild Goose Chase planned for the leadership team at a local communications company. We had the pleasure of hosting our Wild Goose Chase in the capital city of British Columbia, Victoria - a city that boast many historic buildings and some of the best museums in western Canada. The area is also home to some of the country’s most exhilarating scenery, ocean, mountains, business on every corner, and the city’s flower garden are famous the world over. The Wild Goose Chase took teams to a series of missions throughout the downtown core today. Each mission had a different difficulty level and earned teams anywhere from 1 to 10 points. Teams earned the points by completing challenges and submitting their answers through Canadian Outback’s smartphone app in the form of fun photos. The day was a success as teams arrived at the finish line for a well deserved ice cold beverage. They shared stories, a few laughs, and of course, the winning team received their coveted gold medals.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Winnipeg

Hello! Miguel here with another Canadian Outback corporate event update.

Today, this Apprentice event was organized for a group of executives from a transportation company. The venue selected was a room in a beautiful park located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The group was very energetic from the beginning and full of ideas to tackle the tasks at hand. All of them were challenged with building a children’s bicycle, customizing it with art material and created an advertising campaign. Their campaigns were a mix of safety features, funny presentations and some full of facts, but very engaging all of them nevertheless. No one was fired and the bikes went to a good cause since they were donated to a local charity organization at the end of the event.

Wild Goose Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Montreal

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events here with another corporate event update.

We are in beautiful Old Montreal today and the sun is shining and this national technology company had a blast participating in their very own Wild Goose Chase. This group of 50 made their way around the area, completing photo challenges through our Canadian Outback app. This group had ten custom challenges created that have the participants find specific buildings or monuments in Old Montreal. This was a great way to show those who aren’t from the area what this great city has to offer. Some of the other challenges included the teams having to find a couple who’s been married for 40 plus years and take a photo of them kissing, and taking photos of team members standing under a light bulb as they came up with great ideas. Everyone had a blast and was pretty competitive. They all had a chance to meet some of their colleagues that they don’t normally work with and it was also a great topper to a day that was filled with meetings.

Wild Goose Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Mississauga

It’s Dolena here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are in downtown Mississauga, working with a local consulting company. This group of 30 did not stop laughing during the Wild Goose Chase. Everyone was in very high spirits from start to finish, this group started from their head office, was able to use the area in and around the Square One mall. It was the perfect footprint to conduct this activity because there were so many people around to help the participants complete the challenges. Some of the highlights for this group were re-enacting the intros to "Friends" by playing in a fountain, practicing their kung fu skills, and high-fiving simultaneously. This group demonstrated great teamwork, strategy, and communication. Everyone was energized from the event and were happy to get to know some of their colleagues better.

Wild Goose Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are in the Yorkville area, downtown Toronto, working with a national banking company. This group participated in a Wild Goose Chase event on our Canadian Outback app. They had loads of fun completing all the challenges and loved being able to interact with colleagues they don’t normally work with. By using our free app, the Toronto office was able to compete against their fellow colleagues in the Chicago office. This really made the two groups feel connected as they follow the leader board and watch the live stream, and it also made the activity that much more fun and competitive. Some of the group’s favourite challenges were creating their own band cd cover, making creatures out of paper clips, and finding their own doppelgangers. Overall, this group of 90 loved getting out of the office and having some fun with their colleagues. We ended the activity at a local bar for drinks and food and it was really a great day.
