Edmonton Also Knows - Minute To Win It is The Best Corporate Team Building Activity

Hello this is Jill with another corporate event update.

We’re out here in the beautiful but chilly Edmonton, Alberta, and we’ve just completed a Minute to Win It for a local company that was doing their annual meetings. They have come in with the intention to have the Minute to Win It, split up into two separate activities. So two quick, 45 minute round as they had first session of meetings and a second session of meetings, so we were able to break it up quite nicely, have a few less challenges but still have that super competitive, high energy, which is what the Minute to Win It event is all about. These guys had such a fantastic time, really great when we get to make the businessmen and women in their suits get down, get a little dirty with their playing games, we had a big hit with the nose dive challenge, biggest laugh out of the entire day. It was one gentleman who decided to put Vaseline all over his face to get as many cotton balls as he could on his face, in order to get the best points for his teams. We got a couple of really funny photos out of that and a lot of people had some good laughs and we all joked that it was just a good moisturization for his face which was very funny and enjoyable. The client was really happy with event, they enjoyed the fact that it was something fun and quick and it was customizable to their meeting timeline that we could squish it down, the Minute to Win It, how they needed their morning to flow, so they were really happy with that, it was a fun, last hoorah before they send off their staff home for the end of their meeting. So really happy and we really enjoyed working with this group, looking forward to doing the next one with them, hopefully sometime soon.

They were mostly men with about 20 women, they all had very high energy, extremely excitable group, they had a fantastic time. All the challenges with put in front of them, they completed most, most of them were completed with the exception of a couple, but everyone had a fantastic time regardless, they couldn’t stop talking about it, everyone was in super high spirit until the end of it and were so grateful for such a great event. It was a fantastic time!

The Apprentice Corporate Team Building Activity in Vancouver

Hello this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is January 8th and we’re out here in Vancouver, BC, and we have just completed an Apprentice for a small group. It was for a local credit union and they were doing their annual meeting and had us come in to do an Apprentice activity for the afternoon. They are really excited to do this event, they really love the creativity. It was a tossup between this and our Cake Creators but they decided to go with the Apprentice, and they are really excited to have both the trade-able aspect with being able to donate the bikes afterwards to one of the local charities they work with as well as getting their people outside of their comfort zones a little bit with the difference of the marketing ideas they were coming up with and getting a little bit more hands on, building children’s bikes. They had such a great time with this event, the big hoorah at the end was one of the teams’ final presentations, this is the team that actually won, the marketing team actually said that they love their presentation so much because they tied in to the credit union and community promotions that they were gonna use their ideas and actual promotions that they were gonna do with the company within the next year, so that’s really cool to see that just something came out of a fun team building afternoon is actually gonna be used in the business during the next year. So really valuable on a few different fronts for the clients and they were really ecstatic to have that opportunity happen as well as just have such a great event for their participants. So we’re looking forward to doing another event with them next year at their next meetings and we will do the cake creators for them.
