Play It Forward - Corporate Team Building Activity in Halifax

Hello again, this is Jason Reichert with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events, coming to you from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Today we hosted a Play It Forward event for a communications company that was looking to engage and excite their employees. The activity was a part of their national conference, which allowed employees that normally didn’t interact with each other, a chance to get to know each other a little bit better, and have some fun doing it. Not only did they interact with each other, but with the public as well, as teams completed various random acts of kindness challenges all across the city. There were smiles all around as balloons, flowers and hugs were given out to unsuspecting locals of Halifax. An individual who was given a lottery ticket actually even ended up winning some money in the process. All in all, it was a fantastic event with the tremendous feel good factor for everyone involved.

Minute To Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity - Montreal

Hi everyone, this is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate team building event update.

Today we are at a hotel and conference center in Montreal where we hosted a group of a hundred strategic, highly competitive pharmaceutical professionals. Our Minute To Win It event was a great way to kick off their conference and break the ice on day 1. Participants got to run through a wide variety of challenges that let anyone get involved and show their unique strengths. We got the chance to see everyone’s inner animal in “Elephant march”, their balancing capabilities with “Stack Attack”, and their hand-eye coordination in “Marshmallow Mumbo” just to name a few. All of our Minute To Win It games are exciting and cooperative, pulling out the inner child of each and every participant.

Play It Forward - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi everyone, this is Nick again with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events, bringing you the latest news about our exciting and dynamic corporate team building experiences.

Today we are in the sunny streets of Toronto, in the heart of downtown at Maple Leaf Square. The city was buzzing with Raptors fans and Beyonce concert goers who were the happy, unsuspecting recipients of spontaneous good deeds. Our group of finance professionals from a national telecommunications company were Playing It Forward this afternoon, meaning, they were bonding together to spread joy and happiness in the form of simple good deeds. They kept police officers hydrated, distributed balloons to happy children, gave treats to dogs, appreciation of service staff, lottery tickets at random, and the best part was, everyone had a really fun time doing it. The energy became contagious and we really felt the sense of community starting within our group and then spreading outwards.

Custom Event - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

It’s Dolena from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events here with another corporate event update.

Today we are downtown Toronto with a pharmaceutical company. Today’s a special event because it was completely customized to fit the client’s needs. We called it “The Collaboration Games”. We had approximately 125 people split into 14 teams. They all came together as a team to complete trivia games while we asked True or False questions, Pictionary, and Charades. Then we played a series of warm up challenges where everyone on every team participated in solving sports puzzles, and discussing plates into baskets.  From there we had a head to head winner take all tournaments, where teams battle their way through big and bold challenges. One of my personal favourites was watching teams wear silly costumes and take turns riding a children’s bicycle. It was super fun. This group had the most energy and team spirit that I’ve ever seen before. They all supported and cheered each other on as each team was playing for points that would translate into dollars for their own team’s local charity. Overall, this group loved the event and was the perfect way to enhanced their meetings in a fun and philanthropic way.

Minute To Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Montreal

Hi everyone, Nick here, reporting on a great afternoon of corporate team building with another one of Canadian Outback Adventures & Events’ dynamic and lively activities – Minute To Win It.

A trendy hotel in Montreal’s downtown core was the arena where three teams of fierce retail executives battled it out for supremacy. You might know who to turn to in the office for sales, legal or maybe accounting advice, but who’s gonna step up to the plate when the tasks at hand are quirky, silly and a lot more hysterical than the typical 9 to 5. The wide selection of fast pace and addictive challenges gets every competitor a chance to shine and show some of their more creative abilities. Stack attack, Rapid fire, High roller, Face the cookie, all the classics were here today to get people on their feet, moving and working together in an entirely new ways.
