Minute to Win It Corporate Team Building Event in Halifax

Marybeth here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Last week we concluded 3 events across Canada for a telecommunications company. This repeat client chose to do our Minute to Win It event as a regional kick offs in Vancouver, Calgary and Halifax. I had the privilege to be a part of the Halifax event.  Participants competed head to head in teams for 12 different funky, wild and weird challenges. Everyone had a great sense of humor and enthusiasm, and enjoyed the break between their meetings, to share a few laughs and get to know their co-workers on a different level. In the end, one team rose to the top of the podium as Minute to Win It champions and were awarded the gold medal.

Another Great Corporate Team Building Activity in Vancouver - The Amazing Chase

Hi this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is February 17th here in Vancouver, BC and we have just completed an Amazing Chase event for a local travel company. So they had come in, this is their first time working with us and they’re really excited to have an event that would be able to get all their new teammates working together, so their company had just gone through major re-org and they had a lot of different employees that have never worked together before or work in a contract basis, they didn’t do a lot of face to face interactions with their colleagues. So really excited to be able to get in some team building as part of their meetings and have this as the big kick off. Really small group, only 12 people, we have 3 teams of 4 getting out there into the different activities and challenges in the event, and they just had such a blast. This group really went to town on the different challenges and by far, my favourite when I was out there, seeing all the teams in action was a random act of craziness and kindness. So the teams, for the random act of kindness portion of the challenge, one of them decided to sing ”Twinkle Twinkle Litte Star” for a little girl who, at first was super shy and didn’t want to interact with the team but after some encouragement with mom they ended up singing her favourite song and she was very adorable and loved the team by the end of it, which was really awesome, some good warm fuzzies there.  The client was really happy with the event and we met all their expectations, they really enjoyed the fact that teams were able to be competitive but still encourage to work together in different dynamic challenges to get their teammates talking and learning a little bit about each other, as well as how they work together, which was fantastic.

Fun and Lovely Corporate Team Building Activity - The Apprentice Event in Toronto

Marybeth here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Last week we ran 2 back to back events for this communications client. I had the privilege to run and be a part of their second day event – The Apprentice. This group of managers came from across the country and had a lot of enthusiasm and great humor. While building bikes, decorating them and creating their marketing pitch, teams love negotiating with other teams, the staff of the Apprentice store for materials as well as being sneaky and playfully stealing from one another. The icing for the cake of this event was the team’s marketing presentation, which were filled with creative skits, good humor and overall entertaining time with loads of laughs. The event concluded with much deserving charity, Native Child and Family Services of Toronto, saying a few words and accepting the bikes on behalf of the benefiting children.

The Crime Investigators Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Marybeth here at Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Last week we are in Mississauga at a shipment and logistics company office building running our Crime Investigators event. The group was gathering across Canada and the Crime Investigators event was a fun way for the group to let loose, have a good time, and get to know their co-workers. 6 mock crime scenes were setup around the client’s office building where teams visited the crime scenes, collecting evidence and document the scenes in order to solve the murder mystery.

Licensed To Thrill in Secret Agent 007 Corporate Team Building Event in Scottsdale, Arizona

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We just finished a large Secret Agent 007 event for our roughly 130 people in Scottsdale, Arizona. We did an outdoor/indoor activity for a group of mostly men, with about 30% women, I would say. They were a group of pavement professionals based in the Arizona area and from elsewhere, they all travelled in for a 3 days of conference meetings and we took the cake for the funniest activity, I would say, for their entire meeting, which is great. They all had a great time, we followed the 007 act with the Casino afterwards and that was a hit as well. Really well rounded group, they all were able to come together as a team and really put their heads together to solve the case of our 007 activity.
