Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Banff

Hi everyone, this is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we were tucked away in the mountains of beautiful Banff, Alberta, overlooking a cliff as we ran our Corporate Castaways event with a group of executive compensation consultants from Calgary and Toronto. The mountain became a battlefield as these fierce, face painted warriors fought tooth and nail to the bitter end. Not a single team gave another any mercy at all. Mind Bender, Scrambled, True or False, it didn’t matter what the challenge, these competitor fought hard and worked as a team. In the end, it all came down to a dramatic final round of “Tuckered Out” to decide who was the ultimate winner. You’ve probably never seen any of these snacks in the office lunch room before, it’s amazing what a little bit of healthy competition can get us to do.

Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Edmonton

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We have just finished a large 100 person Corporate Castaways in Edmonton, Alberta, for a construction company. We had them in the field behind their office, completing a total of 9 challenges. It was an overcast day in Edmonton but everyone had a great time. Lots of cheering and encouragement, the group themselves got to came together this afternoon and compete head to head, like I said, in about 8 challenges in total. They all had a great time and couldn’t help but enjoy each other’s company and learn the benefits of having a team building activity as a group, so they had nothing but positive things to say.

Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Langley

This is Jordan with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

Our latest event was a Corporate Castaway event plan for a team from the technology sector. Corporate Castaway is an event that recreates challenges from the popular TV series “Survivor”. Tribes have the opportunity to experience challenges first hand such as “Blind leading the blind”, “Triage”, “Tuckered Out” and many more. Tribes compete with the goal of surviving elimination. The company’s office was located in Langley, BC, and offered a sensational venue as the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. The green space beside the office was more than spacious enough to recreate the Corporate Castaway ambiance. The main focus of today’s event was for the small, tight knit team to form stronger bonds and offer conversation pieces other than work chat. This was achieved as the tribes navigated their way to success for each and every challenge.

Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Jasper

Hi everyone! It’s Michelle with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We have just finished a Corporate Castaways at the Jasper Park lodge in beautiful Jasper, British Columbia. We did our event down by Lake Treefoil which is on property at the Jasper Park Lodge. This setting was perfect, very Tree’d area, with a gorgeous lake view, no wind and it was a beautiful day in Jasper. It was about 27 degrees, so the group had a fantastic time completing cerebral and physical challenges as a team. The group themselves were from a law office that has offices in Calgary and Edmonton so this was a good weekend away for them to come together as a team, complete a variety of team building events including our Corporate Castaways. The group themselves had a fantastic time, the participants had a lot of fun and really got to work together to solve the challenges and really help each other through every aspect of the day. They were a very encouraging group and we had all different kinds of departments with us on that day and they all got to work together and, kind of, have a fun activity. It was a little different than anything they had done before, so they were extremely happy.

Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Surrey

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We have just finished our Corporate Castaways event at Blackie Spit Point in White Rock, in Surrey, British Columbia, for a group that works in a law office. We had 4 teams competing head to head at our Corporate Castaways challenge along the beach. It’s a gorgeous sunny day in Vancouver that day and the teams had about 2 hours to get through 7 challenges, competing head to head against other teams. We compared the scores to that of all teams and determined our winner by the end of the day. The group was very high energy; they completed a variety of cerebral and physical challenges. The group was extremely encouraging and had a lot of fun together, this is a group that works fairly closely together on a day to day basis but this got to take them out of the office, get them to have a little bit of fun and enjoy the beautiful weather that we had on this Friday afternoon.
