Amazing Chase - The Next Top Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Marybeth here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

This week we are in downtown Toronto for an Amazing Chase with another Outback repeat client. The race started and ended in the client’s office space where the small group enjoyed a pizza lunch concluding the race. Teams of 2 to 3 participants raced around the city, completing detours and roadblocks that challenged teams communication, leadership, strategy and collaboration skills. Teams had to trade items with strangers, find their artistic side when having to draw team portraits and even eat dog biscuits to make their way to the Amazing Chase course. The public thought the participants were on the real TV show, one team got free subway access because of this. In the end, one team worked effectively to complete the challenges and navigate the city to be Amazing Chase champions and receive outback medals.

Vancouver Amazing Chase - The Next Level in Corporate Team Building Activities

Hi this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is Nov 20th here in sunny downtown Vancouver. Big surprise to have this beautiful weather this time of the year in Vancouver, but we are really excited for our Amazing Chase that we were running for our group here, our local bank was having all of their head managers come in from all their branches to do some meetings as well as some team buildings. So we came in bright and early this morning to run their event and it was such a great day for them to be out, running around in downtown Vancouver. These guys are really excited to be able to showcase the city to some of their colleagues that weren’t from Vancouver and as well as get to know the city a little bit better for their current employees who were located in Vancouver, and walking around and talking to my staff, these guys really were engaged in the whole event. They took the challenges to the next level and were trying to always outdo each other at each of these stations, which were really fantastic to see. With a lot of creative utilization of transportation, we had teams making friends with other drivers to take them around and other teams got the hotel concierge they are staying at to prolong, lend them some bikes which was lots of fun to see them biking around downtown Vancouver, racing to the next station. At the end, there was a lot of great stories that these guys were sharing, a lot of great camaraderie between the teams which was really fantastic to see, and our team just said that these guys were above and beyond trying to win the final medal and it was a tight race at the end but one team did end victorious and they all had such a great time there, regardless of whether they won or not, which is always fantastic for us to see.

Corporate Team Building CSI's Solved Ontario Case

Marybeth here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We did our Crime Investigators event last Friday at the Ontario Science Center for an Ontario governing body. A crime was committed in the surrounding area and teams were asked to visit the crime scenes, collect the evidence, document the scene and ultimately solve the crime. Luckily we had the best of the best to help in our investigation and thanks to this client, the crime was solved. To make this happen, not only did teams survey the crime scene but they also had to pay a secret informant for information and worked collectively as a team to put the pieces together

Toronto Corporate Team Building Knows It Only Takes A Minute to Win It

Hello! Miguel here with another Canadian Outback corporate event update.

We just finished a Minute to Win It event that took place at the client’s office, a very nice building on the 56th floor of their financial institution with a great view of the downtown Toronto. This great view, paired with the group’s enthusiasm made it for a very exciting and engaging event. A great way to energize the group after their morning session and to bring them together as a financial unit and all of them working together towards a common goal.

Sweet Corporate Team Building Activity in Calgary

Hi this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is Nov 12th and we’re here in beautiful Calgary and we have just completed a Cake Creators for a small group. We only have 4 teams but it was such a fantastic event for these guys. They have been doing meetings in the hotel in the morning and wanted a different dynamic event for their afternoon’s activity, having it still in their meeting space, so the Cake Creators was a great fit for them. We decided on a theme of “Baby Shower”. They have an employee of theirs that is heading on maternity leave soon, so they wanted to celebrate her time with the company so we had a really fantastic theme today because people took it to the next level. There are some really amazing cakes, done with a lot of skills and everyone was really impressed with everyone else’s results, and probably my favourite part of this event was, seeing the collaboration between teams is probably some of the best collaboration I have ever seen between teams and a group and the reason for this was, even though they are competing against each other, they were still willing to help each of the teams out. So over all, everyone else does better, which I thought was such a fantastic mantra for their company to have and it was just a really great vibe at the end of the event and everyone was really excited to be able to take the cakes back to the office to show it off to their colleagues and the winning team was very excited to have their winning cake up there as well. So really great event, our team really enjoyed working with these guys and having their Cake Creators event be such a success and looking forward to the next one with them.
