Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

Hi everyone, this is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

Today we are at a golf and spa resort just outside of Toronto which gave us lots of wide open space for all the exciting Corporate Castaways challenges. It was a little bit chilly, but after a round of high energy team cheers, no one seemed to notice the brisk autumn air and competition was in full swing. This team of retirement community managers showed unprecedented enthusiasm as they rotated through eight different challenges, each designed to test different skill sets and bring the team together. We pushed our participants mentally at “Mind Bender”, physically at “Triage”, and gastronomically at “Tuckered Out”. This was my most intimidating menu yet, but inspite of individual fears, participants pushed through and toughed it out for their team. The sense of community amongst this group was contagious and everyone pitched in for a great afternoon of team work.

Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Gravenhurst

Hi everyone, this is Nick with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate team building update.

Today we worked with a group of senior marketing professionals at a golf and spa resort in beautiful Gravenhurst. It was a smaller crowd of only two teams today but the intimacy of the group only added to the rivalry as Blue Steels and the Beamers battled head to head across nine exciting challenges. Strategy was the name of the game for these participants who are all diligent about devising the master plan and sticking to it on each and every challenge. The Beamers took an early lead with two back-to-back cerebral challenges, but once things turned physical, Blue Steel made up some ground and evened the score. Never count your team out in Corporate Castaways because the challenges are diverse, time based, and you’ll never know which superstars on your team will rise up when you least expect it.

Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Quebec

It’s Dolena here with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we are in gorgeous St Sauveur, Quebec, running a Corporate Castaways for a national real estate company. Around 100 people participated in this fun, survivor themed activity and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. We had teams of 7 or 8, trying to survive elimination. We started things off with having each team get face painted up and create team flags, then it was time for the challenges. One of the group’s favourite challenges was “Triage” where teams had to build a triangular stretcher and transport 4 team mates to their safe zone, while also completing a large SOS puzzle. Some other awesome activities were “Blind leading the blind”, “Jumbled” and “Tuckered out”. These challenges tested the team’s abilities to strategize, trust one another and think outside of the box. Everyone had so much fun and they just loved this activity. It really was a great day in the hot sun and everyone also got the chance to cool off by going down the venue's 100 foot water slide, so that was a great topper to the day.

Corporate Castaways of Bay of Nation Park, Banff

Hi! This is Alexis from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We were in the spectacular Bay of Nation Park yesterday for a Corporate Castaways event. This week’s Corporate Castaways was an outdoor adventure for a large team of builders and property managers from Calgary. The participants enjoyed wrapping up their week long corporate retreat by bonding with teammates over a series of games based on the popular Survivor TV show. The company director was thrilled to see his staff effectively collaborating, strategized, problem solved and succeeded all of the challenges. It was a positive end to their week of meetings and an exciting way to build relationships throughout their company divisions.

Corporate Castaways in Toronto - Team Building Survivor Style

Marybeth here with Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We just ran our Corporate Castaways event on a beautiful sunny day in High park in the City of Toronto for property management company. This event lasted 3 hours with a 65 people in 8 different teams also known as tribes. Tribes competed head to head in 8 challenges all physical and cerebral to become the Corporate castaways sole survivor champions.

Tribes came dressed for the occasion, coordinating their tribal colors with their tribe mates. Tribes were given colored bandanas to match their outfits and asked to create a tribe name, flag and chant. The challenges began after each tribe presented their intimidating or hilarious chants. To finish the event, all tribes competed against one other in infamous Survivor food eating challenge- tuckered out.

Teams spun a pointer which decided the delectable item they would eat. This made for great laughs, camaraderie and a ton of cheering. Corporate castaways is a great outdoor event that encompasses the skills and assets of all team members in a fun and exciting way.
