Early Christmas in Houston with The Apprentice Corporate Team Building Activity

Hey there everybody, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures and Event with another corporate event update.

We have finished an Apprentice, Bike Build, event for an insurance company in Houston at their office, and this was an activity designed to provide a philanthropic feel while putting groups into teams that don’t work in the same office and, in fact, not in the same city. They had an annual general meeting and this was part of their fun evening time cocktails and mingling activity. So we had everybody, after dinner, building bikes that were then donated to the fire fighters’ toy drive for Christmas time. So we had 2 members of the Houston Fire Department come down, not only help out build the bikes but also say a little bit about the charity itself, where these brand new bikes were going. Everybody had a great time, it was really awesome to have someone from the fire fighters’ toy drive there on site to speak a little bit about the charity and get everybody a little bit more involved and understanding where these bikes go. So, everyone was very greatful for that and had a great time with the bikes. We had different sizes so that many different aged children can enjoy these, every age from about 5 years of age, up until about 12, I would say. So we donated 9 bikes and everybody had a great time and were very excited to be a part of this activity.

Exploring the Heart of Toronto through the Amazing Chase Event

Hi this is Alexis from Canadian Outback Adventures and Events for another corporate event update.

We were in the heart of Toronto on Friday afternoon for an Amazing Chase event with a large group of international bank managers. This week’s Amazing Chase teams raced through series of sequential checkpoints with roadblock and detour challenges throughout the downtown core. Participants levers each other’s strength to navigate the course and complete all of the physical and cerebral challenges. 90% of the participants are from outside of Canada and they thoroughly enjoyed seeing the city from a new perspective and exploring the areas off the typical tourist trail while building relationship with their colleagues from around the world.

Corporate Team Building Activity for a Cause

Hello this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is September 24th and we are out here in Vancouver and just completed a Corporate Castaways for a local food services company. These guys have brought us in as a partner on their charity event that they were raising money for “Habitat for Humanity”. So we came in as the charity component to bring in an activity for their volunteers and their partners who were donating money to the cause to be able to put a little bit of a “Thank You” for everyone who have been able to donate, whether be their time or money, to “Habitat for Humanity”. It was a really great time, it was a whole bunch of different employees from different companies, being able to come out, get a little bit competitive, network, meet some new people, as well as just enjoy one of our highest energy level event, and all these guys came ready to rock and roll. We had teams already in costumes and bandanas and face paints and color coded, so they were ready to compete, which we really loved. So that enabled us to have a really high energy, big enthusiasm event which, I think, everyone really enjoyed and our staff had such a great time playing with these guys, it was all for a great cause. So incredibly happy how it turned out and the client was very happy and thankful for how the participants        had such a great time and she’s pretty confident that these guys will be talking about this event for awhile to come as they go on to other networking events and hopefully for some more fund raising efforts for “Habitat for Humanity”.

Racing Around Tampa with Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity

Hi there everybody, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We just finished an event in Tampa, Florida, for a petroleum company. We did an Amazing Chase throughout the down town Tampa and Ybore city areas, sending teams on the trolleys, sending them to museums, the aquarium and along the river walk on the water. Most of the participants were not from Tampa, so it was a good experience for them to be able to see the city and some of the sites while competing in a very, actually very competitive event with this group as they were all male, 18 of them and very intense, competitive environment, mostly sales representatives. So, this event really put the best of the best out there to duke it out on the course. They all came back with big smiles and said it was a fantastic time and be happy to do it again.

Kaleidoscope of Corporate Team Building Activities in A Custom Event

Hello this is Jill with another corporate event update.

It is September 18th and we are here at the Richmond Olympic oval and we just completed a custom event for a financial company of about 180 to 203 of their employees from their Vancouver office. This was their company retreat, as well as fun days that they did conferences in downtown Vancouver. In the morning they were brought out here for their afternoon activity. We had a really great time with this event. It was an amalgamation of some of our team building events, as we as utilizing some of the activities the Richmond Olympic oval had to offer. So we had things that were more catered towards the venue space, for example Rock climbing and Yoga, as well as doing a golf clinic, as well as incorporating some of our more custom events for Canadian Outback. We had some Minute to Win It challenges, we did some painting activities and we did a culinary component with making sushi as well as making some Asian flare cocktails, so a whole nexus of fun stuff. Basically what the client wanted with this event was a fun day for all of the participants, and we really think we met those needs, the participants had such a great time being able to go around the stations. They can try a few different things that they might not have been able to try in their regular life, as well as just having a fun relaxing afternoon. We really had a fantastic time, the client was super happy with the way the event turned out and we really enjoyed being able to produce something a little bit different for these guys and still meet their needs while going through all of these fun challenges and activities with them.

If you want to plan a corporate event with us, we can definitely do custom ones for you so let us know, contact your awesome sales team and they would be happy to help you.
