Great Camera Caper - Corporate Team Building Activity in Toronto

This is Kristen with another corporate event update.

Our latest event took us to Toronto, Ontario for a downtown Great Camera Caper event. This event was for a local banking group that had participants from all over central and South America. The Great Camera Caper was a great event for them because it had participants running around the downtown core of Toronto and taking photos of local monuments. It was a great way for these out of town participants to see the city while having fun with their colleagues. We were also able to utilize the path system in Toronto. This was great as it was a little bit chilly in January for these out of town participants and they were happy to be able to tour on the city from underground.

Secret Agent 007 - Corporate Team Building Activity in Fort McMurray

This is Kristen with another corporate event update.

Our latest event took us out to Fort McMurray, Alberta for a 007 event. This oil field service group was excited to crack the mysteries and get a “License to Kill”. We had them running around the hotel property, finding clues and interacting with secret informants. It was great to see this group working together, using their brains and interacting in a different way than they have before.

Minute to Win It Corporate Team Building Activity in Elkford

This is Kristen with another corporate event update.

Our latest event took us to the beautiful Elkford, BC, for a Minute to Win It event for a local mining company. This group had been in meetings all day and we broke it up with a Minute to Win It challenge around lunch time. This is a great event for this group because it got them out, up and about, and active, competing in simple challenges that got them thinking, working together and having a few laughs

Minute to Win It Corporate Team Building Activity in British Columbia

This is Kristen with another corporate event update.

Our latest event took us to the beautiful Elkford, BC, for a Minute to Win It event for a local mining company. This event was ran “game show” style and had participants really engaged. The space was beautiful, we rented out the Elkford community conference center, which is a new building sponsored by Teck. This conference center is a great space for the Minute to Win It event. Participants loved getting wild and crazy, participating in the high energy Minute to Win It challenges.

The Apprentice Corporate Team Building Activity in Ottawa

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had an Apprentice in Ottawa, Canada. This event was one in a series of 3 Apprentices. The client decided to run the same event for their Mississauga, Montreal and Ottawa offices, all within 1 week of each other. The Ottawa Apprentice was the smallest of the three with about 25 people participating. The event took place inside their office, or more specifically, their training center. It was a quiet start, but like they always do, participants’ competitive streaks came out full flourish and soon the room was filled with ideas, laughs, and creativity. At the conclusion of this morning, a few participants stated that it was great to know that they were taking time out of their work day to do something to help kids who really needed it. The Boys & Girls Club of Ottawa took inspiration from our donation and is now planning a “Bike the Canal Day” with their kids. Overall it was a great morning at the capitol.

The Apprentice Corporate Team Building Activity in Montreal

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had an Apprentice in Montreal, Quebec. This event was one in a series of 3 Apprentices. The client decided to run the same event for their Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa offices, all within 1 week of each other. The Montreal Apprentice was the medium size of the group with about 55 people participating. To accommodate the French speaking participants, teams were given the “OK” to present in either English or French, whatever they are most comfortable with. “Enthusiasm knows no language” I say. The marketing presentations had singing, grown men riding bicycles and even some very charitable donations. Overall it was a great morning here in Montreal.

Minute to Win It Corporate Team Building Activity in Edmonton

This is Kirsten with a corporate event update.

It’s the beginning of December and the weather is cold. So we kept it inside for our latest event in Edmonton, Alberta, with a Minute toWin It challenge. This small group of about 35 oil field representatives had a great time at their conference at the River Cree Resort and Casino. We kicked off their second evening with a Minute to Win It event. Teams had a lot of fun competing, laughing, and getting creative competing in the challenges. We finished off the event with the “How’s It Hanging” challenge. Everyone had lots of laughs and enjoyed being silly with their co-workers.
