Marybeth here again from American Outback Adventures and
Events with another corporate event update.
We ran our Crime Investigators event in Tarry Town, New
York, this week for a software solutions company. This company had a 170
participants coming together from across North America for their leadership
meetings. The event was a break between their meetings and a great way to kick
off their conference. The participants were put in to 30 specialized crime
investigators team to help solve the crime that had been committed at Tarrytown
House Estates. In order to solve the crime, teams visited the 5 crime scenes,
collecting evidence and documenting the scene. There was also an informant on
the estate grounds where team had to approach this informant, give them a
special phrase, and pay them some money to obtain the information. Participants
had a great time playing the role, being creative, having a change of scene
from indoor meetings and getting acquainted with some of their co-workers they
hadn’t had the chance to get to know. Tarrytown House Estate and conference
center is just 25 miles from Manhattan and has the perfect grounds and setting
for our CI event. The afternoon was filled with team work, laughter and serious
things like solving crime.
