Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Edmonton

Our latest event took the events team down to Edmonton, Alberta, for an Amazing Chase. It’s the beginning of October and the sun was still out. Teams enjoyed running around the downtown core and enjoying the sunshine. This group of franchise managers was from all over the country, so they enjoyed getting out and enjoyed seeing the city of Edmonton. There was lots of highlights with teams eating fish, bartering, doing random acts of kindness and busking for money.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Edmonton

Good morning! This is event coordinator Esther with another Canadian Outback Adventures & Events update.

Recently I was up in Edmonton running an Amazing Chase for a small group of accounting and advisory professionals. Starting in the Northwest - downtown core, teams raced along a 5 kilometre course, competing in a variety of challenges, including 6 degrees of separation, an art challenge and a cowboy themed shoot-em up before getting a rest from their feet as their mystery vehicle whisked them across town to other Edmonton’s famous attractions where there were some more interactive challenges awaiting for them. They built up their thirst for the final stop, which was great, because I was there with a refreshing beer taste test challenge for them. There were some fantastic surprises provided by the client, including our coveted COAE medals, gift certificates, golf bags, and the winning team won 500 dollars to give to a charity of their choice. They all ended with a barbecue and drinks, sharing stories, this will definitely be a memorable day for this group.

Amazing Chase in Ottawa - Fun Corporate Team Building Activity

Marybeth here from Canadian Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

This week we are in downtown Ottawa running our AmazingChase event for a creative technology company. Race teams were created by the client based on the Myer Briggs personality test. This was a unique and great way to incorporate all skill sets to create a fair and even team, as well as a fun way of getting to know your co-workers. Teams started the chilly afternoon with a group high kick and individual team cheers. From there, teams were off on the race. The course challenged teams with roadblocks and detours, including eating dog biscuits, borrowing items with the public, and getting creative with their art skills. Teams successfully completed the challenges thrown their way and made it to the finish – Mill Street Brew Pub, where they enjoyed well deserved refreshments. Teams shared their funny and wild stories over drinks, while the Amazing Chase champions were announced and awarded medals. The windy weather did not stop this group from having an exciting and interactive afternoon with their co-workers.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Event in Edmonton, Alberta

Hi, this is Jill with another corporate event update.

We are here at Edmonton, Alberta, it’s March 18^th and we have just completed an Amazing Chase for a local construction company. So these guys really wanted something that would kick off their first team building event with us with a bang, so they chose the Amazing Chase, one of our classics, they were really excited to have different challenges to take them around the city. They are all locals but they are interested in finding some of those hidden gems of the city that people may not always know about, so we made sure to highlight some of those for them throughout the event course. There is a lot of really great team competitiveness with this group. There is some subtle sabotage at some point which was fun to see, all in the good spirit of competition though, everyone still had a great time. There was good energy amongst all of the teams. Probably the highlight of this event was our Tai Chi challenge. There is just some really great photos that came out of this event, people really took it to a whole new level with the different routines we gave them and they got very in to the challenge, which we loved to see, people taking what we give them and putting it out to the next level. There’s lots of smiles and laughs coming back to the finish of the event and everyone seem to have such a great time which we really enjoy and our staff just loved interacting with this group while out on course. Client was really happy with the event and met all of their expectations and they’re looking forward to do some different events with us in the future as they are really trying to incorporate team building into their new business model, which is really exciting to see and looking forward to doing some more events with them in the future.
